HUD Organizes a Big Meeting to Talk About the Future of Housing



On the 7th and 8th of October, Adrianne Todman, who is currently in charge of HUD (The Department of Housing and Urban Development), held a special meeting called the "Next Generation of Housing Policy" roundtable. 

The purpose of this meeting was to come up with new and exciting plans to help make more houses available and to make it less expensive for people to find a place to live.

HUD didn't do this alone. They invited a group of really smart people who study and know a lot about housing from different places and fields of study.

The idea was to use the knowledge from these experts to come up with fresh and proven ways to solve the housing problems we're facing now and the ones we might face in the future.
